It can withstand being exposed to soap, lotion, and perfume as it is the mother mycelium of the Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), a fungi used for mycoremediation (A form of bioremediation in which fungi-based remediation methods are used to decontaminate the environment)
